You ever get that crazy feeling, just a sudden blip while while you weren’t expecting it? sometimes it slowly seeps into your subconscious and you remember it as if you’re dreaming. this is usually how many childhood memories come back to me, and they always make me smile. i’m not one of those people that can list off their favourite memories, not that i didn’t have any, i just don’t rank them out in my head that way. my memory is pretty bad for things of importance, but a trait i got from my mother is my memory for faces. time can change you all he wants, but i still know who you are. Manton Harding, i came across him on facebook tonight. we were in first grade together. we were always the last ones to finish copying things from the chartpaper. i went to your rocket themed birthday party. later at algonquin you were a year ahead. i remember one day you chilled at the milkroom with me and shelby. we weren’t friends, but you weren’t as freaking awkward as everyone else from first grade was. you were sort of different. its so refreshing to see someone i knew that long ago that hasn’t gone downhill. you look like the kind of kid it’d be friends with. i do not have a single close friend from childhood left. you’re one of those kids that truly only adds their friends on facebook. lmao, i always called you ‘Man’in’, who knew it was Manton hahaha
i had originally planned to write about recalling childhood memories, but seeing Manton changed my mind. for another time.
